About Eagle Lake
What people use Eagle Lake for.
Eagle Lake is in southern Cass County, near Edwardsburg. It's a mid-sized all-sports lake of around 530 acres with a long-established cottage community around the shore and a public launch on the south side.
The fishing is the main draw for locals. Largemouth and smallmouth bass, bluegill, crappie, walleye, and northern pike all show up in DNR surveys. The lake runs deep enough in the central basin to hold fish through the summer, and the weed lines along the north shore fish well for bass.
For boating, Eagle has room for everything — pontoon cruising, water skiing, tubing, kayaks, paddleboards. It tends to get busy on summer weekends but stays manageable. We deliver pontoons to private docks on Eagle and route from the public launch when shore access isn't available. Edwardsburg is a few minutes off the lake.
