About Big Twin Lake

Big Twin Lake is in southern Cass County, paired with its smaller sibling Little Twin Lake. The two sit side by side in a wooded section of the county, connected by a short channel — together they're known locally as the Twin Lakes.
Big Twin is the deeper of the two and the better lake for boating. Largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, and northern pike are the common catches, with bass holding along the weed lines through summer. The shoreline is mostly cottages and trees, which keeps the lake quieter than the Sister Lakes cluster to the north.
We deliver pontoons to private docks on Big Twin. If you're staying in the area for a few days, the short channel over to Little Twin is easy to navigate by pontoon — it's a nice change of pace if you've already worked one side of the lake.
