About Diamond Lake

Diamond Lake is in Cass County, just north of Cassopolis. It's one of the larger and busier inland lakes we serve — about 1,020 acres, with depths reaching nearly seventy feet, and the kind of all-sports lake where pontoons, ski boats, and jet skis all share the water on a summer weekend.
The fishing is strong. Largemouth and smallmouth bass, walleye, northern pike, bluegill, and crappie all show up in DNR surveys. The deeper basins hold walleye in the early morning, and the weed lines fish well for bass through the day.
Diamond has a public launch on the north end and a long-established cottage community around the rest of the shoreline. We deliver pontoons to private docks anywhere on the lake. It's about forty-five minutes from St. Joseph, and Cassopolis is two minutes off the lake for gas, groceries, or a meal after the day.
