Stone Lake sits in the village of Cassopolis in central Cass County. It's the lake the village is built around — a small inland lake of around 165 acres with a public park and beach on the north end, just off the main road through town.
The lake fishes well for its size. Largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, and northern pike are the common catches, and the public park makes it one of the more accessible lakes in the area for shore-based fishing as well.
For day rentals, Stone is a calm-water lake with enough open water for a pontoon cruise and some tubing. The shoreline mixes village park, residential homes, and small cottages. We deliver pontoons to private docks on Stone, and the public boat launch is a short walk from the village's coffee shops and restaurants — a different feel from the more isolated cottage lakes nearby.
