Pine Lake is in eastern Van Buren County, in the area between Lawton and Paw Paw. It's a mid-sized inland lake with a mostly residential shoreline of cottages and year-round homes, and a small public access point.
The fishing is steady. Largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, and northern pike all show up regularly. The weed beds along the shallower bays produce reliably for bass and panfish, and the deeper basins give the bigger fish somewhere to sit through the summer. Ice fishing is popular through the winter.
For day rentals, Pine handles a mix of activities — pontoon cruising, tubing, kayaks, paddleboards. There's enough open water for a leisurely day on the lake without crowding the calmer coves. We deliver pontoons to private docks on Pine and route from the launch when shore access isn't available.
