About Jordan Lake

What people use Jordan Lake for.

Jordan Lake is in eastern Ionia County, near the village of Lake Odessa. It's a mid-sized all-sports lake of around 400 acres with a public launch on the north end and a mix of cottages and year-round homes around the shore.

The fishing benefits from the lake's depth. Largemouth and smallmouth bass, walleye, northern pike, bluegill, and crappie all show up in DNR surveys, and Jordan has been stocked with walleye over the years. The deeper basins hold walleye in the early morning, and the weed lines fish well for bass through the day.

For day rentals, Jordan has room for everything — pontoons, tubing, kayaks, paddleboards, and water skiing in the open stretches. We deliver pontoons to private docks on Jordan. The drive from St. Joseph runs about two hours, so it's typically a multi-day rental for renters in that direction.
