About Keeler Lake

What people use Keeler Lake for.

Keeler Lake is in northwestern Van Buren County, in Keeler Township just east of the Sister Lakes cluster. It's a small inland lake with a mostly residential shoreline and limited public access — most renters here meet us at a private dock.

The lake holds the standard mix for the area: largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, and a smaller population of northern pike. The shallow ends fish well for panfish and bass, and the deeper middle section gives the bigger fish somewhere to sit through the summer.

For day rentals, Keeler is a calm-water lake — a good fit for a pontoon cruise, kayaks, or paddleboards. We deliver pontoons to private docks on Keeler. The Sister Lakes — Dewey, Magician, the Crooked Lakes, Round, Cable — are all within a short drive, and we deliver to all of them, so it's an easy area to do a multi-day rental and lake-hop.
